UPDATE: We just ate here last night and HAD to come back for breakfast today (Father's Day)! Hubby had the chile relleno plate (yummmmm) and I had the bacon and egg burrito (bacon was perfect). Fabulous as always! And the burrito was so big I couldn't even finish it We will NEVER go anywhere else for authentic Mexican food!!!! The two taco plate (#6) and the bean tostada and cheese enchilada (#3) plates are freaking amazing. The guacamole? Perfection. The jamaica? Awesomely refreshing! They make their taco / tostada shells so they taste incredible. The beans are so good, the rice is so good, they have a cool little salsa bar, too! We've been searching all over Killeen, Harker Heights, Belton, Temple, Austin...everywhere locally and we have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that tastes this authentic. You won't be sorry!!!

Thursday, 25 Jan, 2023 It was not bad at all. I had the Carne Asada Burrito. It was huge, flavorful and definitely filled me up. Sooooooo many options to choose from on the menu. I definitely want to try something else. It was quite a few customers in there all enjoying their meal. Girl at the counter was very friendly and nice. I would recommend and I’m sure I will be back.

I ordered the steak chimichanga meal (49¢ more than just the chimi) and it was ready pretty quickly. It was covered in guacamole, which I wasn't a fan of. The meat seems more like beef from a burger than steak. Their horchata was very good, and the churro had chocolate inside it and was good too.

First time at this place. I have been looking for a place to get a nice steak burrito. OMGoodness I was super pleased with the quickness of getting my order, the size of the burrito, and most of all the taste. I went on in May 26th, just didn't have time to do a review until today. Thank you !!!!!!

You may notice a lot of Mexican food in my reviews. I'm not going to apologize for it being among my comfort foods. A good burrito or taco comes with expectations and sometimes let downs. So after seeing a few photos from a place called Big Burrito, we had to investigate. It was a little early afternoon when we walked in. The drive-thru was active at this little shop as we walked up to the counter. As you can see from the menu, there are a lot of options. We grabbed some rolled tacos, a bean and cheese burrito and a carne asada burrito with guacamole and cheese. Food arrived pretty quickly giving me enough time to hit the salsa bar. They have a good red sauce that you will see in the corner of one of the photos. Bean and cheese burrito was seasoned well and was just what we were looking for. The carne asada burrito was great... beef chopped to a perfect size, seasoned well and not overcooked. The rolled tacos also hit the spot...may order a larger batch next time. It has now been a year in the area experiencing some of our favorite foods. Yet, we have been searching for a taco shop that compares to two of our favorites back in Las Vegas. Big Burrito is the closest we have come and now we just need one a little closer to our house. Update: We had time to kill and went back to try some other goodies. Ordered a carne asada quesadilla, some carne asada tacos, another bean and cheese burrito and a bean tostada (to bring to a friend.) That quesadilla is beautiful and massive. It is so big that, in the photo we took, you can only see 2 and a half pieces peeking out from the 'to go' box. We will share half of it for breakfast tomorrow morning. Tacos were perfect. I will keep searching for great food but, so far, I enjoy spending time here.

This is my 3rd time going in and it never disappoints. I’ve had the Carne Asada fried each time and have tried a different burrito every time as well. All this goes paired really well with there Horchata.
